A leading educational institution in Dublin is seeking a part-time Student Health Nurse to provide a comprehensive health and wellbeing service for full-time students. The role involves managing a busy patient caseload autonomously while engaging with other student support services and organizing health-related events. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic student services environment. The nurse will work 25 hours a week and be compensated according to the Practice Nurse salary scale.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of Student Support Services at the TU Dublin City Campus Student Health Centres. The nurse will provide a comprehensive, inclusive, health and wellbeing service for all full‑time students. The nurse will work autonomously and within the team, managing a busy patient caseload under the guidance of the Medical Director and Clinical Nurse Manager. Engagement with other student supports within the university will be required and opportunities to work with other staff in TU Dublin Student Services and the Student Union, organising and staging various health and wellbeing‑related programmes and events.
Hours of Work: A 25‑hour working week.
Location: Grangegorman, TU Dublin.
Salary: The appointee will be remunerated on the Practice Nurse salary scale, at the rate(s) (pro‑rata) authorised by the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science from time to time.
