Job summary

Kilsaran is seeking a Structural Design Engineer in Oranmore, Co Galway to lead design from concept to production. You will prepare calculations for precast and RC elements, mentor technicians, and liaise with customers and contractors to ensure on-time delivery and high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a structural design engineering role with precast or reinforced concrete.
• A third level degree.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• The ability to manage and prioritise daily workload.
• Focus on deadlines and ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Oversee structural engineering projects from initial design through to production.
• Prepare structural calculations for a wide range of projects including multi-storey buildings and carparks.
• Design high quality precast products that meet specifications.
• Mentor Design Technicians and guide them on design aspects.
• Check 3D models, General Arrangement drawings and shop drawings.
• Liaise with customers, external design teams and contractors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to QS, H&S, Manufacturing and Site teams.
