GxP Recruitment are delighted to be working with our global Medical Device client on a Supplier Engineer role based in Galway. The role focuses on supplier selection, process and material changes, and providing technical support for all purchased goods within the supply chain.

You will work with Purchasing, Supplier Quality and Business Units to manage supplier performance, quality improvements, and cost reductions while ensuring GMP-aligned documentation and transfer of processes to

Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Teamwork and collaboration are key for project success.
• Experience in supplier engineering or project management is valued.

Responsibilities

• Technical team member on supplier management initiatives.
• Support quality, cost and service objectives across the supply chain.
• Investigate material quality issues and coordinate with Quality, Procurement and Business Units to resolve them.
• Promote the Quality System within the supply base and ensure supplier compliance.
• Lead or support VIPs and process change assessments with Suppliers.
