Job summary

Vantage Resources, a leading Irish financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join its technology team. The role will design, develop, and support Salesforce components, delivering change across the environment and supporting deployments.

You will work across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud, applying CI/CD and IaC practices, while ensuring security and regulatory requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Deep technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components and Salesforce APIs.
• Strong experience across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Communities / Experience Cloud.
• Experience with Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities.
• Experience working across multiple environments and technology stacks.
• Strong understanding of observability, including metrics, logging and tracing.
• Good understanding of secure platform design, including identity, secrets management, network segmentation, encryption and patching.
• Experience with both PaaS and SaaS environments across public and privately hosted platforms.
• Experience working within regulated or financial services environments.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reusable, scalable platform solutions and communicate technical trade-offs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and support Salesforce platform components and solutions.
• Deliver high-quality technical and functional change across the Salesforce environment.
• Develop and customise solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components and Salesforce APIs.
• Work across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
• Support deployments, platform configuration and customisation across multiple environments.
• Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and configuration management.
• Develop scripting and tooling to automate build, deployment and operational activities.
• Monitor platform health, investigate alerts and resolve incidents, with a focus on preventing recurring issues.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, information security, vendors, product owners, business analysts and development teams.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to continuous platform improvement.
• Ensure platform implementations meet security, governance and regulatory requirements.
