Job summary

Pat McDonnell Paints is recruiting a Sales Manager to join the team at our headquarters on Centre Park Road, Cork. This newly created senior role reports to the MD and drives a sales strategy aimed at sustainable growth in revenue and margin while maintaining our focus on exceptional customer service across the network.

As part of the Business Development Team, the Sales Manager will oversee all existing Sales Representatives, work closely with the branch network, and collaborate with Finance,

Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy: communicate the agreed sales strategy across the business and identify opportunities.
• Market Intelligence: track competitive landscape and market trends to support decisions.
• Brands & Products: lead product/brand priorities for the sales function with the team.
• Branch Interactions: ensure branches have the knowledge, tools, and motivation to sell effectively.
• Management of Sales Reps: oversee all Sales Representatives and ensure targets are met.
