Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is seeking an Operations risk and compliance professional to report on the Operations Function to the Management Committee, Risk & Compliance Committee and the Board. The role requires maintaining key policies, approving bank payments, implementing the business strategy, and ensuring robust controls, monitoring and reporting within Operations.

The position also involves addressing Consumer Risk in duties, managing client asset operation processes, and reporting risk

Responsibilities

• Report on the Operations Function to the Management Committee; act as Secretary and manage deliverables.
• Report on the Operations Function to Risk & Compliance Committee and attendees.
• Present an in-person report on the Operations Function to the Board.
• Maintain and implement Key Policies, Procedures and related documents for the role.
• Approve bank payments.
• Implement the Operations business strategy.
• Ensure controls, monitoring and reporting are properly implemented in the Operations area.
• Address Consumer Risk in discharge of duties.
• Manage client asset operation processes and procedures within Operations.
• Accountable for managing risks, including regulatory compliance risks, in their area.
• Actively manage and report risk events and incidents and related metrics.
• Report on risks and outcomes of Risk Control Self Assessments to Committees and the Board.
