Job summary

TOM People in Ireland is seeking an experienced FP&A Lead to shape financial strategy and drive performance across the business. In this high-impact role, you will work closely with the Head of FP&A and senior leadership to deliver insights that inform long-term growth and capital planning.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles, build robust financial models, and transform data into clear commercial recommendations using Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with at least 4 years PQE.
• Strong FP&A and commercial finance experience.
• Expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex models.
• Experience using Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Ability to translate data into commercial recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience presenting to executive teams.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support long-term financial strategy and business plans.
• Develop and report on key FP&A KPIs aligned to objectives.
• Analyze performance, market trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Deliver insights to support senior leadership decisions.
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
• Maintain robust financial models and documentation.
• Produce monthly/quarterly management reports and board packs.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and strategic targets; highlight trends.
• Assist cash flow forecasting and scenario modelling.
• Create dashboards translating data into actionable insights.
• Drive improvements in reporting, processes, and data governance.
• Collaborate with CFO on board reporting and strategic projects.
• Establish best-practice FP&A processes and standards.
