Job summary

JFC Group is seeking a Finance Lead to oversee the finance function across multiple European entities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes cost control, financial governance, and strategic decision support.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive profitability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in financial leadership, regulatory compliance, and ERP-driven reporting, with strong communication and team leadership skills.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years finance leadership experience with responsibility for strategy, reporting, controls and team management.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audit and tax compliance.
• Knowledge of Irish, UK and European financial regulations, governance and compliance.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate financial info into business insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group financial strategy and planning across all units and entities.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Monitor performance against budgets and identify risks, trends and opportunities.
• Drive cost control, margin improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Provide financial insight to support investments, CAPEX, R&D and acquisitions.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking and treasury activities.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Payroll and General Accounting.
• Coordinate tax compliance, statutory reporting and audits across jurisdictions.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team and foster continuous improvement.
• Support due diligence for acquisitions and oversee insurance programs.
