Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to assist the Store Manager in supervising employees, staffing, inventory, merchandising, and store operations. The role involves developing an external candidate for the Store Manager position for a limited period and requires adherence to store processes and company policies.

The incumbent will participate in hiring, merchandising, inventory management, and securing funds while maintaining a safe, well-stocked store.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two+ years leadership/management experience.
• Two+ years of retail grocery experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist in recruiting and staffing.
• Support store merchandising per guidelines and proper signing/pricing of merchandise.
• Help manage inventory including damages, markdowns, scans, paperwork and controls.
• Follow ordering practices to meet or exceed in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Act as a role model by following company procedures and policies.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure secure deposit of company funds and cash controls.
