Intersport Elverys is seeking a Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations across our Irish stores. You will drive sales, coach a team, manage stock, security, health and safety, and deliver outstanding customer experiences that meet company KPIs.

The role requires 2–3 years of retail management experience, strong leadership and IT skills (Excel, Email, SAP), and a passion for visual merchandising. Based in Ireland, occasional store coverage may be required.

• 2/3 years retail management experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, people management and leadership skills
• Experience in Visual Merchandising desirable
• Proficient IT knowledge including Excel, Email, SAP

Responsabilidades

• All aspects of day-to-day operations in the store, including sales, team management, customer experience, security, health & safety, stock and resources management
• Meet and exceed store targets and KPIs
• Recruit, train, coach and manage team members in line with company policies
• Manage all cash, wage costs, budgets and systems administration as required
• Drive Visual Merchandising in store to engage, inspire and educate the consumer
• Ensure in-store services are manned and promoted (e.g. Safesize, Assisted Selling)
• Be security conscious and follow company security guidelines to deter pilferage
• Own Health & Safety in store and ensure team members are trained
• Identify customer requirements and develop additional non-direct business
• Ensure successful implementation of projects in line with company expectations
• Deliver excellent store standards consistently in line with business expectations
• Key holder and main call out for alarm activation
• Provide cover for other stores as required
• Any other activities to ensure successful operation of the store

Key Responsibilities:

• Every aspect of day-to-day operations in the store, including sales, team members, customer experience, security, health & safety, stock and resources management.
• Meet and exceed store targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Recruit, train, coach and manage team members in line with company policies, ensuring fairness and consistency to all.
• Manage all cash, wage costs, budgets and systems administration as required (TMS, BC, etc).
• Drive excellent Visual Merchandising in store to engage, inspire and educate the consumer.
• Ensure all in-store services are suitably manned and promoted, e.g. Safesize, Assisted Selling, etc.
• Be security conscious ensuring to follow company security guidelines aimed at deterring pilferage and protecting stock.
• Responsible for overall Health & Safety in store. Ensure all team members are fully trained and following company policies and procedures with regard to Health & Safety.
• Identify current and future customer requirements & develop additional non-direct business.
• Ensure successful implementation of projects in line with company expectations.
• Deliver excellent store standards consistently in line with business expectations.
• Key holder and main call out person in the event of alarm activation.
• Provide cover for other stores as required.
• Any other activities as required in order to ensure the successful operation of the store.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

• 2/3 years retail management experience (dependent on store grade).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, people management and leadership skills.
• Passionate about the delivery of an excellent customer experience with an understanding of how this drives sales and affects the bottom line.
• Experience in Visual Merchandising desirable.
• Proficient IT knowledge including Excel, Email, SAP.
• 3rd Level Business/Retail Management Qualification beneficial but not essential.
