Job summary

JD Sports Fashion Ireland is seeking a customer-focused team member to join our Kilkenny store. You will help customers, promote products, and maintain a clean, well-presented shop floor.

You will assist with transactions, stock replenishment, and daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment. The role requires a positive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Keep stock areas clean, organized, and well displayed.
• Replenish stock and ensure products are visible and correctly displayed.
• Handle transactions and assist with deliveries as required.
• Use in-store systems to support inquiries and daily operations.
• Follow health and safety policies at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.
• Responsible for achieving team sales objectives by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and promoting complementary items.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays, and stock areas are clean, organised, and well maintained.
• Replenish stock and ensure products are available and correctly displayed in line with company standards.
• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, cash handling, stock processing, and preparing deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required.
