This Work Placement Experience Programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers who are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Your eligibility for this programme will be verified by the Department as part of the application process.

We\'re seeking a motivated individual to join our team through the Work Placement Experience Programme. This hands-on role will provide valuable experience in retail operations, stock management, and facility organization across our store and yard operations. You will receive full training including:

• Complete warehouse stock system operation training
• Forklift training and certification
• Hands-on retail and inventory management experience

Role Description

Certified/Formal Qualifications: Forklift Training and Certification. This is a nationally recognized qualification completed in months 1-3 and enables independent, safe forklift operation.

Health & Safety Training: Workplace safety standards and practices (Part of the induction weeks 1-2).

Structured On-the-Job Training:

• Warehouse Stock System Operation
• Full training on your Intact inventory management system
• Stock receiving, checking, and put-away procedures
• Inventory control and record-keeping
• Retail Operations Training
• Customer service fundamentals
• Merchandising principles
• Product display and store organization

• Sector: wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles
