Job summary

NTS Marine is seeking a skilled Steel Worker for full-time, temporary roles in Ireland. The candidate will convert drawings into precise steel components, assist in assembly, and help install structures in marine environments.

Responsibilities include quality inspections, adherence to safety rules, and collaboration with welders and construction teams to complete projects on time and to spec.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in steel fabrication, assembly or erection.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specs.
• Knowledge of quality control standards for structural steel and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, assemble and install steel components per drawings.
• Operate torches, welding machines, grinders and hoists safely.
• Inspect welds, bolts and joints for alignment and safety.
