Job summary

CDM Civils Ltd in Market Square, Mallow, Co. Cork, is seeking an experienced steelfixer to read and interpret technical drawings, measure and cut steel to exact sizes, and assemble rebar by welding and bolting on active sites.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of proven steelfixer experience, strong blueprint interpretation skills, and a solid knowledge of rebar installation procedures. You will join a team on construction projects, delivering safe and precise reinforced concrete work.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years proven experience as a steelfixer.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of rebar installation techniques and procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Calculating and cutting steel to the correct size and shape.
• Welding and bolting rebar pieces together as required.
