Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read construction drawings, reinforcement schedules and technical specifications.
• Work safely following site health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors and other trades to complete projects.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings, reinforcement schedules and specifications.
• Measure, cut, bend and assemble reinforcing bars and mesh to required dimensions.
• Position, secure and tie reinforcement prior to concrete placement.
• Install reinforcement cages, columns, beams, slabs, walls and foundations.
• Check alignment, spacing and positioning to ensure project specs.
• Use hand and power tools and reinforcement equipment safely and efficiently.
