Job summary

Aramark Food Services currently seeks a Barista to join our team in Galway. You will report to the Restaurant Manager; this role requires a customer-focused personality with a passion for excellent coffee. You will help us deliver catering services to staff and visitors within Boston Scientific. A very rewarding position for the right candidate.

We are looking for friendly, motivated people to join our dynamic catering team. This is a permanent role working 5/7 days per week.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
High personal standards and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP.
Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative.
Strong understanding of English.

Responsibilities

To manage and take complete ownership of a stand-alone coffee bar.
To prepare speciality hot & cold beverages to order in a timely manner adhering to the highest coffee standards.
To ‘Upsell’ products and promote sales at all times.
Ensure cleaning schedules are strictly adhered to.
To deliver the highest level of customer service at all times.
To carry out any reasonable management requests and attend training courses when required.
To be responsible for end of day closing procedures including cash handling.
