Job summary

Qualcomm is seeking an experienced ASIC Design Engineer to join the Infra‑Sensors team in Cork, Ireland. You will work on high‑performance subsystems that are foundational to our Snapdragon processors. About the Position

The Infra‑Sensors team is responsible for delivering high‑performance subsystems and the constituting IPs that form the foundations of Qualcomm‑Snapdragon processors. The complex subsystem is key to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platform, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and verification efforts of highly advanced subsystems for our latest chipsets. The Infra‑Sensor team works directly with Architecture, Software and SOC teams located at various Qualcomm sites, requiring effective communication and interpersonal skills along with expert knowledge in AMBA protocols, low‑power design, and advanced debugging techniques.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
• ASIC design experience including macro and micro architecture, RTL design in Verilog/VHDL.
• Experience in low‑power design techniques and UPF fundamentals.
• Experience working with AMBA protocols such as AHB, AXI, and APB.
• Experience using LINT and CDC tools.
• Experience analysing and debugging with Synopsys simulation tools like Verdi.
• Experience working in a multi‑disciplinary, global team focused on advanced, high‑volume applications.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
• Strong technical leadership and coaching skills.
