Job summary

Intersport Elverys is seeking a friendly Sports Advisor to join our in-store team in Ireland. You will provide outstanding customer service, know the product catalogue, and actively engage with customers to match products to their needs while helping achieve sales targets.

Flexibility during midweek and weekends is essential. You will help maintain shop floor standards, support deliveries, and handle till transactions with a positive, energetic approach.

Qualifications

• A warm, friendly and engaging personality is essential.
• Experience in a customer service role with face-to-face customer contact is highly desirable.
• Experience in a retail environment with a quality brand is desirable but not essential.
• Great communication skills – outgoing, energetic, and focused on delivering a great customer experience.
• Initiative to undertake additional tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Generate and close sales by ensuring a great in-store experience for customers.
• Provide personal and positive service experience to each customer.
• Maintain knowledge of product catalogue and current promotions.
• Engage with customers to offer best products for their needs and boost sales.
• Ensure store and support areas are clean, tidy and easy to navigate.
• Assist with deliveries and stock handling.
• Operate tills and handle financial transactions.
• Take responsibility for personal development and participate in improvements.
