Job summary

Medforce is recruiting an experienced Sonographer to join a busy diagnostic imaging service in Ireland. You will perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations, including general, MSK, obstetric and gynecological imaging, with 3D and 4D fetal imaging as part of the caseload.

The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills, Irish or UK experience preferred, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced Sonographer.
• Broad clinical skill set across general ultrasound imaging.
• Experience in MSK, obstetric and/or gynaecological ultrasound is highly desirable.
• Experience performing 3D and 4D fetal scans is an advantage.
• Irish or UK clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality ultrasound service across a broad range of clinical examinations as part of the diagnostic imaging team.
• Perform general, MSK, obstetric and gynecological ultrasound and 3D/4D fetal imaging.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to clinical standards.
• Collaborate with referring clinicians and other healthcare team members to ensure thorough patient care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Sonographer with a broad clinical skill set who is looking to work across a varied range of ultrasound examinations.

The successful candidate will have experience across general ultrasound imaging, with experience in MSK, obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound highly desirable.

THE ROLE

You will provide a high-quality ultrasound service across a broad range of clinical examinations, working as part of a professional and patient-focused diagnostic imaging team.

The role may include:

• General ultrasound imaging.
• Musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound.
• Obstetric ultrasound.
• Gynaecological ultrasound.
• 3D and 4D fetal imaging.
• Providing accurate, high-quality diagnostic images and appropriate clinical information.
• Maintaining high standards of patient care, communication and professionalism.
• Working collaboratively with referring clinicians and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to relevant clinical and professional standards.

REQUIREMENTS
