Job responsibilities

• Play a leading role in Version 1's capabilities program as a Solution Architect, driving strategy and providing a dedicated career plan to help shape your career.
• Work with clients to assess their current infrastructure, application portfolios, and pain points to define strategic modernization plans.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure designs are implemented with best practices in coding, security, and performance.
• Guide and participate in proof-of-concept (PoC) development to help clients visualize the future state of their applications.
• Facilitate workshops, technical sessions, and presentations to build consensus and alignment on architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and agree on technical aspects of IT architecture, including API, micro-services, and interoperability solutions.
• Oversee the implementation of a solution architecture based on business requirements and the ICT strategy.
• Maintain high-quality architecture documentation and governance across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect
• Hands-on Java developer / Tech Lead experience
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns and best practices
• Experience in Application Modernisation
• Strong technical and communication skills
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders
