Job summary

Energywise Ireland is seeking a skilled carpenter/joiner to join our field installation team in Cork. You will install Solar PV systems on domestic and commercial buildings, meet deadlines, and work safely. You will engage with customers, provide information on works, complete installation paperwork, and perform general carpentry tasks.

Qualifications

• Qualification in carpentry/joinery.
• Harness experience is essential.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Confident decision making.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work as a team and on their own.
• Positive attitude when dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Installation of Solar PV Systems on domestic & commercial buildings.
• Ensure deadlines are met for upcoming installations and projects.
• Engage with customers and provide information and advice on work being undertaken.
• Complete work to the highest standard within allocated time as part of a team.
• Complete the required Installation paperwork.
• Adhere to Health and Safety at all times.
• General carpentry and snagging tasks.
• Install a range of energy efficiency upgrades including: Solar PV systems; Mechanical Heat Recovery Ventilation Systems; Ceiling Level Insulation; Sloped Ceiling Insulation; Drylining; External Insulation; Natural Ventilation.
