Job summary

EFOR in Limerick is seeking a Software Testing Lead for the MES program in Pharma/Life Sciences. You will own the testing strategy, lead a testers team, and ensure QA aligns with regulatory needs.

You will develop robust test plans, drive automation in CI/CD, and coordinate defect metrics to stakeholders while collaborating with DevOps and development teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Testing Lead or Senior QA Engineer on enterprise software.
• Strong grasp of testing methodologies and tools (ISTQB or equivalent).
• Hands-on in regulated industries (pharma, life sciences).

Are you passionate about quality in complex software projects? We’re looking for an experienced Software Testing Lead to drive QA and continuous improvement for our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) program.

What you’ll do:

• Own and evolve testing strategy for MES implementations and integrations
• Lead and mentor a team of testers, fostering high standards and continuous improvement
• Develop and execute robust test plans and cases for functional, integration, and performance testing
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to strengthen test automation in CI/CD pipelines
• Act as the quality gate for releases, ensuring all changes meet regulatory and business needs
• Coordinate defect management and ensure clear reporting of QA metrics to stakeholders

What you bring:

• Proven experience as a Testing Lead or Senior QA Engineer on enterprise software projects
• Strong grasp of testing methodologies and tools (ISTQB or equivalent preferred)
• Hands-on experience in regulated industries (pharma, life sciences, etc.)
• Track record with MES platforms (Syncade experience is a plus)
• Agile/DevOps and test automation know-how
• Leadership, collaboration, and clear communication skills
