Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Ireland is seeking a Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices. You will build scalable services using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure, and ensure robust RESTful APIs for inter-service communication.

You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and deploy on Azure Cloud. Strong collaboration and clear communication are essential in our fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Have experience of Java Spring Boot and Azure.
• Experience building and deploying microservices using Spring Boot framework.
• Able to design and document RESTful APIs for microservices communication.
• Able to create and manage Docker containers, Dockerfiles, and Docker Compose.
• Have working knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals, deployments, services, and configuration management.
• Have great verbal and written communication skills and enjoy collaborating with teams to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.
• Developing and maintain cloud-native microservices applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
• Developing and maintain RESTful APIs for microservices communication.
• Implementing and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.
• Deploying and manage microservices on Azure cloud platforms, such as Azure Container Apps.
• Troubleshooting and debug issues in complex microservices environments.

About the Role
