Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland is recruiting a Social Care Worker for Jerpoint Camphill on a permanent full-time basis. Salary ranges from €39,869 to €57,476 per year.

You will join a committed team providing care to adults with disabilities in a residential setting, with opportunities for collaborative and learning experiences within a national organisation. Applicants should have a Level 7 QQI or equivalent, CORU registration in progress, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
• CORU registration or proof application is in progress
• Have 1 years experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
• An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.

Job Title: Social Care Worker

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Fulltime (40 hours per week)

Salary: €39,869 - €57,476 per annum
