Job summary

Enable Ireland in Arklow, Co. Wicklow, is seeking a motivated Social Care Worker to join our Adult Day Service. This Specified Purpose and Relief post supports adults with disabilities in daily life within a quality framework.

The role requires CORU registration, a Schedule 3 qualification or an equivalent recognised credential, a full driving licence, and commitment to ongoing professional development. Salary is pro rata with 31 days annual leave, and flexible working options may be available.

Qualifications

Statutory registration on the Social Care Workers Register (CORU).
Schedule 3 qualification.
Comparable qualification recognised by the Social Care Workers Registration Board.
Knowledge, skills and suitability to perform the role effectively.
Annual registration required.
Maintain annual registration on CORU.
Experience in developing personal plans.
Experience as a key worker.
Experience delivering personal care.
Experience assisting adults with medical needs / administering medication.
Experience in professional supervision.
Full, clean, manual driving licence.
Eligible to work in the State.
