Job summary

Health Service Executive is advertising a Social Care Worker role based in Wicklow Town. The post is a specified purpose, wholetime contract, open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.

CORU registration is required or in progress, with strict adherence to PCP and care plans to ensure person-centered support. Qualifications include a QQI Level 7 or related degree in Social Care, 6+ months of relevant experience, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Qualification: QQI level 7 in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice at degree level; CORU registration or application in progress.
• At least 6 months recent experience as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs.
• Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Full, clean driving licence (manual) essential with ability to drive service vehicles.
