Job summary

A reputable service provider in Ireland is seeking a Social Care Worker to support young people in residential care. The role involves providing direct services and requires relevant qualifications and flexibility in working hours. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of six months experience in social care and knowledge of HIQA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months working in the social care sector (placement experience considered) for Social Care Workers.
• Previous work experience in a similar setting is desirable.
• Full Clean Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a direct service to young people in residential care.
• Support young people in mainstream residential care, prep for leaving care and separated children.

Due to our client’s expansion, we are currently recruiting for a Social Care Worker to work as part of a team in supporting young people in residential care: Opportunities in mainstream residential, prep for leaving care and separated children seeking international protection are now open.

The chosen candidate will provide a direct service to young people in residential care.

To be considered for the role, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
