Job summary

A progressive support organization in Dublin is seeking a Social Care Leader / Person in Charge to provide community residential services. Candidates should have a QQI Level 7 qualification in Social Care and significant experience in the intellectual disability sector. This role offers excellent career progression and a supportive working environment. Salary ranges from €56,351 to €65,807 dependent on experience.

Essential Qualifications
  • QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care / Applied Social Studies or equivalent, eligible for CORU registration
  • Up‑to‑date CORU registration / Confirmation of application for registration submitted to CORU
  • Recognised management qualification FETAC / QQ1 Level 6 or equivalent
  • Full clean Irish manual driving licence and willingness to drive service vehicles when necessary
  • Experience in the intellectual disability sector
Desirable Qualifications
  • Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the role of Person in Charge, Health Act 2007 (Care and Support of Residents in Designated Centre for Persons (Children and Adults) with Disabilities)
  • Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of the Avista competency framework
