Job summary

Avenue Veterinary Hospital is a purpose-built, 100% small animal practice in Dundalk seeking a Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. VC I-registered candidates with first-opinion experience are preferred; there is a strong emphasis on surgical skills and client care.

Qualifications

• VCI-registered Veterinary Surgeon with experience in first-opinion small animal practice.
• Ability to work independently when required and handle sole-charge weekend shifts.
• Interest in surgery and commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Consultations, routine and advanced soft tissue surgery, diagnostics and inpatient care.
• Develop and own the surgical caseload, with opportunities for further qualifications.
• Deliver high-quality patient and client care in a collaborative team.
