Securitas Security Services are currently recruiting for a Site Security Coordinator to be based in South Dublin.

Role Overview

The Site Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all physical security operations at the Dublin site, including both traditional guarding functions and the supervision of a Control Room manned with Control Room Operators. This role ensures the effective coordination of on‑site patrols, access control, emergency response, remote monitoring and administrative support tasks performed by Control Room operators. The supervisor acts as the key point of contact for client security management and ensures compliance with procedures, service quality, and operational flexibility.

This position reflects the evolution of the site's security model, integrating intelligence.

  • Trained operators into the team and expanding responsibilities to include support for global security coordination and intelligence reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Security Systems & Monitoring (Control Room Supervision)
  • Supervise Control Room operators performing remote monitoring and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure all Control Room operators are trained in intelligence fundamentals and capable of producing basic intelligence reports when required.
  • Oversee access control systems, CCTV, intrusion detection, fire and building management systems.
  • Ensure regular testing and first‑level troubleshooting of security systems.
  • Coordinate threat monitoring activities using open‑source intelligence (OSINT) to support client operations.
  • Supervise the creation of Intelligence reports to support client operations and travels.
  • Ensure Control Room operators support travel security coordination (e.g., vendor quotes, communication setup, traveller notifications).
Guarding Operations
  • Manage internal and external patrols and ensure coverage according to client schedules.
  • Coordinate VIP escorts and executive presence support.
  • Ensure guarding staff are briefed and trained on evolving site procedures and client expectations.
  • Oversee any extra/ad‑hoc service requests made by the customer off‑site.
Administrative & Support Tasks
  • Oversee mail and access request management (standard and secured areas).
  • Coordinate vendor interventions and ensure compliance with client procedures.
  • Supervise the preparation of executive travel reports and quarterly access control reports.
  • Ensure Control Room operators assist with administrative tasks such as corporate travellers reports, coordination and documentation.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting: daily site reports, incident reports, equipment testing, and monthly summaries.
  • Maintain documentation of updated SOPs and assignment instructions.
  • Oversee the production of intelligence reports when requested by the client or internal stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Manage rosters, attendance, and payroll accuracy.
  • Organise team meetings and training (e.g., First Aid, Fire Awareness).
  • Set and monitor individual objectives for team members.
  • Facilitate access to development opportunities, including intelligence training for Control Room operators.
Emergency Response
  • Act as the single point of contact during emergencies.
  • Coordinate first aid and fire response procedures.
  • Liaise with emergency services and provide situational updates to client management.
  • Collect and report local intelligence during incidents.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Maintain strong communication with client representatives.
  • Ensure flexibility and adaptability in service delivery to meet evolving client needs.Support client events and ad‑hoc security requirements.
Profile Requirements
  • Proven experience in site security supervision, ideally with exposure to Control Room operations and intelligence support.
  • Strong understanding of physical security systems and remote monitoring tools.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Comfortable with administrative tasks and client‑facing responsibilities.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to evolving operational needs.
