We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented individual to join the plumbing team in Cork as a Site Sales Support Specialist. The role supports the sales team by providing essential administrative and operational assistance, ensuring smooth execution of sales processes and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Order Processing: Assist with order entry, ensure accuracy and completeness, coordinate with logistics and finance, track order statuses, resolve issues, and communicate updates to customers and sales representatives.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales representatives, support their order processing, address customer inquiries and sales reporting, act as liaison between the sales team and other departments, and provide timely information to enhance productivity.
- Market Insight: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities; assist in market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats, supporting strategic decision‑making.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, ensuring satisfaction through the sales cycle, and managing complaints or escalations professionally.
- Price Administration: Help administer pricing policies, discounts, and promotions; collaborate with sales reps and pricing analysts to implement strategies that maximise profitability while remaining competitive.
- Customer Engagement: Engage proactively with customers to understand needs and feedback, support the development and execution of engagement initiatives such as surveys, feedback mechanisms, and loyalty programs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or related roles is advantageous.
- Plumbing/Bathrooms/Sanitary Ware experience or strong knowledge is a requirement.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset for internal and external interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM software is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred
- Experience in the sales, wholesale, or retail industry.
- Knowledge of sales processes, order management systems, and pricing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and generate reports to support sales activities and decision‑making.
