Noel Group are currently partnered with a Irish Main Contractor with over 120 year’s active presence in the industry who are seeking a Site Manager to join their team in Limerick. You will be working within a well-established team on a variety of prestigious projects. The current workload is exciting and you will be involved at all stages. This is great opportunity to be part of an expanding team.

Education & Skills
  • 3rd level qualification or trade background with relevant experience

  • Valid Safepass and Manual Handling certification desirable
Job Description and requirements
  • Oversee operations on a day to day basis while monitoring and tracking progress
  • Inspect works in progress and completed work, to make sure it complies with project specifications
  • Ensure work complies with building regulations as well as other legal requirements
  • Ensure Quality standards are maintained at all times.
  • Co-ordinate and manage subcontractors and other labour workers
  • Keep in close contact with members of the site team at all times
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and planners
  • Ensure work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle onsite incidents and emergencies in a proactive manner
  • Ensure all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are procured in a time efficient manner
  • Requisition of materials
  • Create progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to management
  • Attending daily briefings, Record Daily site activities (daily log)
  • Monitor / raise and track variations on site in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager

You will have 5+ years solid site experience within the construction and building industry, preferably for a Main Contractor. The successful candidate will have experience of working on high quality medium to large scale projects in various sectors Industrial, Health, Pharma, Commercial & Education.
