Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks a Site Engineer for a Main Building Contractor project based in Rosslare, Co. Wexford. You will perform precise setting out of construction works from drawings and specs, establish reference points, and ensure layouts meet project requirements.

You will use Total Station, GPS and laser levels to achieve accurate measurements, work with stakeholders, and maintain high health and safety standards on site throughout the housing project.

Qualifications

• 2 years + experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK.
• 3rd level degree in Construction/Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency with the use of Total Station, EDM instruments & GPS to complete accurate set out.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise setting out of construction works based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Establish reference points, grades, and benchmarks to ensure accurate measurement and alignment.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify and implement setting out requirements.
• Utilize surveying instruments like total stations, GPS, and laser levels for accurate measurements and layouts, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain strong health and safety standards.
