Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Site Engineer for a housing project in Rosslare, Co. Wexford. The role supports a Main Building Contractor and involves precise setting-out on a starting project, ensuring alignment with drawings and specifications.

You will use total stations, GPS, and laser levels to measure layouts, while collaborating with stakeholders and upholding strict health and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• 2 years+ experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK
• 3rd level degree in Construction/Civil Engineering
• Proficiency with the use of Total Station, EDM instruments & GPS to complete accurate set out

Responsibilities

• Perform precise setting out of construction works based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Establish reference points, grades, and benchmarks to ensure accurate measurement and alignment.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify and implement setting out requirements.
• Utilize surveying instruments like total stations, GPS, and laser levels for accurate measurements and layouts, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain strong health and safety standards.
