Job summary

GMC is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join the Reinstatement team. The candidate will support project delivery across Dublin, Wicklow and surrounding areas, ensuring work aligns with timelines and budgets while maintaining rigorous HSQE standards.

The role requires a full clean driver’s license, and experience in civils, drainage or utilities. Ability to manage multiple teams, work under pressure and communicate effectively is essential.

Qualifications

• Full clean driver’s license required.
• Engineering qualification desirable.
• Civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity) experience.
• Previous experience on reinstatement works.
• Commercially aware of project costs.
• Experience with site activities and multiple teams.
• Good knowledge of HSQE requirements.
• Good knowledge of ground support systems.
• Computer literate.
• Confident, motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
• Time management abilities to meet targets.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy.

The Role.

GMC are currently looking for an experiencedSite Agentto join our Reinstatement team.

The successful Site Agent will be supporting the delivery of projects across all aspects of the business from a construction point of view. The Site Agent will be responsible for delivering projects in accordance with pre-agreed timelines and budget frameworks. A strong ethos on health and safety, compliance, reporting, and documentation are essential qualities.
This role is for projects across Dublin, Wicklow and surrounding areas.

The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:

• Full clean driver’s license essential.
• A qualification in engineering or equivalent is desirable.
• Civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity) experience.
• Previous experience working on Reinstatement works.
• Commercially aware of projects costs.
