Job summary

Social Discovery Group is seeking a Senior QA Engineer (Web) to lead quality assurance across modern web features. You will design test plans, execute functional and exploratory tests, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure releases ship with high quality.

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in QA methodology and test design.
• Web tech and client-server architecture knowledge (HTTP/HTTPS, REST).
• Cross-browser and responsive testing across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.
• DevTools and debugging proxies (Proxyman, Charles, Fiddler or similar).
• API testing with Postman, REST/GraphQL; test data handling.

Responsibilities

• Drive QA of business features from hand-off to production release.
• Review specs, prepare test plans and comprehensive test cases.
• Provide realistic estimates for testing tasks and meet deadlines.
• Perform functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser and E2E API testing.
• Contribute to web test automation (nice to have).
• Collaborate with Product, Front-End, Back-End engineers and Architects.
• Validate builds and monitor live errors during releases.
• Track QA metrics such as escaped defects and test coverage.
