Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Ireland seeks a Senior Process Engineer to strengthen drinking water and wastewater process leadership with a focus on bioresources. You will lead design and delivery of water, wastewater and bioresources projects across Ireland, supporting major clients from feasibility through detailed design to construction and commissioning.

The role requires Chartered status or progression toward it, a relevant engineering degree, and extensive experience in water/biowaste process engineering,

Qualifications

• Degree (Level 8) in Chemical, Process, Environmental, or Civil Engineering (or closely related).
• Chartered (or working towards) with Engineers Ireland or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the process engineering design of water, wastewater and bioresources projects.
• Direct and review delivery across feasibility, optioneering, concept, detailed design, and construction/commissioning.
• Provide technical leadership in water, wastewater and bioresources/sludge treatment (digestion, dewatering, resource recovery).
• Promote process safety and risk techniques (HAZOP-style reviews as needed).
