Job summary
Mott MacDonald is seeking a Chartered Civil/Water Engineer to lead design teams across water and wastewater projects in Ireland. You will work within the Water Utilities Division, delivering investigations, feasibility and detailed design with industry experts.
The role offers hybrid working, strong career progression, and opportunities to contribute to frameworks across Ireland and the UK. Travel to sites may be required.
Qualifications
- Essential: Civil Engineering degree and Charter Engineer status or equivalent alignment with Engineers Ireland competencies.
- Proven track record leading design teams on water and wastewater projects.
- Strong communication, collaboration and client-facing leadership skills.
- Desirable: experience with Uisce Éireann, NI Water, Scottish Water or equivalent.
- Desirable: strong digital capability (Copilot/AI, Civils 3D, SharePoint).
- Desirable: ability to travel to sites across Ireland and the UK.
Responsibilities
- Undertake investigations and design across all stages of water and wastewater scheme development.
- Collaborate with industry experts to deliver innovative, compliant solutions for clients.
- Contribute to mentoring junior team members and leading multidisciplinary delivery.
