We are seeking a Senior Transport Planner to join our Transport & Mobility Planning team in Ireland. This role can be based from either WSP's Dublin or Naas offices, with hybrid working allowing for a mix of in-office and home working. As a Senior Transport Planner you will support on a range of transport projects across the WSP business with the potential to lead on Irish transport planning projects. You will work across modes to develop transport strategies, active travel infrastructure schemes, business cases etc. and support the development of transport programmes and projects from inception through to completion. This is a varied role.
You will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with our Net Zero, Future Mobility and Freight growth areas on a range of innovative strategies for our public sector clients, as well as our extensive range of expertise practice groups, including Public Transport, Active Travel and Transport Communications.
We undertake a wide range of transport planning technical work for our clients across Ireland and the UK, as well as having an extensive portfolio of multi-disciplinary and cross‑sector services, including active travel solutions; public transport network planning; scheme development and appraisal and business case development. Our clients include Local Authorities and National Government Organisations. This provides our staff with the opportunity to work in a range of roles, across multiple disciplines, and realise their career aspirations, whatever they may be.
The Ireland transport and mobility team is a new discipline within WSP Ireland therefore, it is an exciting opportunity for ambitious transport planners to join the team to support the company’s growth within Ireland.
