Excel Recruitment is seeking a Senior Trainee Manager for a busy grocery store in South Dublin, Republic of Ireland. Salary is EUR40,000 - EUR45,000 per annum. This role supports the Store Manager with daily operations, leads a busy team, and ensures high store standards.

The ideal candidate has prior grocery retail management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to progress within grocery retail. Excellent training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in grocery retail management or a similar sector is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with the overall running of the store.
• Manage and motivate the team to achieve strong store standards.
• Oversee stock, orders, waste and merchandising.
• Ensure excellent customer service across the store.
• Manage opening and closing procedures.
• Support with rosters, training and staff development.
• Ensure company procedures and health and safety standards are maintained.
• Take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager’s absence.
