Job Title: Senior Test Manager
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Contract: Initial 6-Month Contract

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Test Manager to join our leading banking client, based in Dublin, on an initial 6-month contract. This is a senior role requiring extensive experience managing complex testing initiatives within the banking sector.

The ideal candidate will bring strong banking knowledge and a deep understanding of banking systems and processes. You will be responsible for defining and driving the test strategy, ensuring quality across multiple workstreams, and managing teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the overall test strategy, test plans, and approach for large-scale banking projects.
• Manage end-to-end testing across multiple systems and integrations.
• Oversee test execution, defect management, and quality assurance reporting.
• Lead and mentor onshore and offshore test teams.
• Collaborate closely with business, development, and project teams to ensure delivery alignment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards.
• Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and project governance forums.
• Drive continuous improvement in test processes, automation, and quality management practices.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 15+ years of testing experience, including significant time as a Test Manager in the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of payments (e.g., SEPA, SWIFT, ISO20022, domestic payments).
• Proven track record of delivering testing on complex, multi-system banking programmes.
• Hands-on experience with test planning, execution, and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Experience with agile and waterfall delivery models.
