Job summary

Yahoo Inc. is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager in Ireland to lead high-impact cross-functional technology programs within Central Technology. The role reports to the VP of Enterprise Strategy & Corporate Technology and focuses on strategy-to-execution, governance and executive alignment.

You will partner with engineering leaders, security and infrastructure teams to drive decisions, manage dependencies, and advance AI and automation initiatives across Yahoo.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs or large-scale technology initiatives.
• Proven ability to understand system architecture, dependencies and operational risks.
• Strong communication skills and experience mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional technical programs from strategy through execution with clear outcomes and roadmaps.
• Drive initiatives such as technology asset registry, CMDB capabilities, engineering governance.
• Partner with engineering, security, infrastructure and business stakeholders to identify dependencies and risks.
• Establish lightweight governance to improve accountability, visibility and execution.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve program execution and operational effectiveness.
