Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants in South Dublin is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer/Associate with 10+ years of building design experience to lead multiple projects, ensure technical delivery, QA, and financial management while coordinating with staff and clients.

You will design in steel, concrete and timber, use 3D modelling tools like Tekla, Robot, and ETABS, and contribute to business growth in Ireland and internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years+ experience in the design of building projects.
• Strong experience in concrete and steel design and careful attention to detail
• Familiar with Eurocodes/ British Standards
• Proven use of 3D modelling software (Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, Etabs etc.)
• A desire to take the next step in their career and help grow the business in Ireland and internationally.
• Ideally have a driving licence

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects in terms of technical delivery and QA.
• Oversee finances (fees and invoicing) and programme delivery.
• Coordinate with junior engineers and CAD technicians.
• Develop structural designs in steel, concrete and timber.
• Liaise with clients and project teams.
