Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer for a leading Dublin-based consultancy. The role involves senior project leadership, mentoring and directing delivery across planning, design and construction stages.

You will drive quality, safety standards and client retention while collaborating with Directors on growth plans and market strategies for the Dublin office. A strong track record in budget control and invoicing is essential.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate experience in consulting environments is highly valued.
• Strong technical, communication and management capabilities are required.
• Commercial awareness with a track record in budget control and cost management.
• Ability to prepare high-quality project reports and chair meetings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of project delivery from planning, resource management, and technical leadership to mentoring and staff development.
• Lead design excellence while ensuring quality management and health & safety standards.
• Manage client relationships to retain existing business and generate new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Directors to deliver growth plans for the Dublin office and develop regional marketing strategies.
• Drive fee proposals, client liaison, cost control and contract management; manage invoicing and negotiations.
• Independently run multiple projects at various stages and values, delivering profitable engineering solutions and high client satisfaction.
