Job summary

Mastercard Ireland is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Generalist to join our engineering team. You will drive reliability by deeply understanding application behavior and infrastructure, ensuring system stability, performance and resilience.

You will lead proactive efforts to prevent incidents, improve observability, and reduce MTTD/MTTR. Work with cross-functional teams to design automation, instrumentation and reliable systems, while mentoring peers in best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• 5+ years in SRE/DevOps or related field.
• Strong knowledge of observability, logging, metrics and tracing.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive reliability engineering to reduce outages.
• Participate in incident response with data-driven analysis.
• Design and implement monitoring, dashboards and alerts.
• Mentor engineers on reliability best practices.
