Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and enhance cloud-based platforms that support scalable, reliable, and secure services, with a focus on Java and Spring Boot.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform, and observability across environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features securely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior DevOps or Platform Engineering role within cross-functional software teams.
• Proven ability to design, build, and support cloud platforms with reliability and security.

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work within a cross-functional engineering team to design, build, and enhance cloud-based platforms that support scalable, reliable, and secure services. You will help shape infrastructure, automation, and deployment practices while contributing to Java and Spring Boot development activities that improve the efficiency and performance of our platforms.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and DevOps tooling.
• Owning and improving CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and secure deployments.
• Implementing and managing Infrastructure-as-Code for consistent and automated environments.
• Supporting the development, deployment, and operation of microservices across environments.
• Collaborating with developers, QA, and operations to enable efficient delivery of new features.
• Contributing to application code using Java and Spring Boot.
• Enhancing monitoring, logging, security, and observability across the platform.
• Driving best practices around automation, reliability, performance, and cloud architecture.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a senior DevOps or Platform Engineering role within a cross-functional software development environment.
• Experience with AWS /AZURE Cloud platform
• Proven ability to design, build, and support cloud-based platforms with a focus on reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
• Experience developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps toolchains to improve software delivery processes.
• Knowledge of designing, implementing, documenting, and supporting microservices-based applications and distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot, with the ability to contribute to application development and feature delivery when required.
• Experience managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tool Terraform
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, containerized environments, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience implementing and maintaining observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers, QA engineers, and operational teams.
