Job summary

Allied Health/Nursing is seeking a Senior Speech & Language Therapist to lead adult services across community, primary care and inpatient settings in South Dublin. You will manage a defined adult caseload, supervise junior staff and students, and contribute to service development.

The role requires CORU registration, 3+ years post-qualification, and experience with dysphagia, aphasia, and cognitive-communication disorders; you will promote evidence-based practice and clinical governance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated clinical leadership and supervision of junior staff and students.
• Experience with adult communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and intervention for adults with communication/swallowing disorders.
• Lead case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Supervise and mentor Basic Grade SLTs, therapy assistants and students.
• Support service planning, quality improvement and audit activities.
