Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, operate and continuously improve secure, highly available Azure platforms supporting large-scale production environments.

You will provide technical leadership for reliability initiatives, mentor SREs, and partner with security, architecture and product teams to improve resilience, automate processes and optimize deployments using Terraform, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes, preferably AKS.
• Advanced Terraform skills for reusable IaC components.
• Strong Git and GitOps practices with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Proficient Linux administration and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Go or Bash).
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain highly available Azure infrastructure including AKS, VMs, Functions and App Services.
• Define and maintain SLIs/SLOs and error budgets; drive reliability improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis and post-incident reviews; design resilience patterns.
• Design and maintain IaC using Terraform; build reusable platform components.
• Operate and optimize AKS clusters; establish container security standards; manage upgrades.
• Develop monitoring, logging, alerting and distributed tracing strategies; maintain dashboards.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps; support blue/green and canary deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring; participate in on-call rotations.
