Job summary

Egis Ireland is seeking a Designers Site Representative to support the construction phase across major civil infrastructure projects. You will monitor works for compliance with drawings, specifications and design intent, and liaise daily between site teams and the design team to ensure smooth progress and quality.

You’ll review contractor submissions, manage non-compliance reports, and help resolve technical issues early.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
5–10 years of relevant experience on civil/ infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods and site practice.
Experience leading project and technical teams.

Responsibilities

Designer's Site Representative support throughout construction and DSR certification.
Monitor construction works for compliance with drawings, specs and design intent.
Review works across infrastructure packages including pavements, drainage, utilities and structures.
Provide daily liaison between site teams and the design team.
Issue Designer's Site Changes and manage site inspections/diaries for the DSR team.
Review contractor submissions, method statements and non-compliance reports.
Identify design or construction issues early and coordinate with design disciplines.
Respond to TQs and RFIs with the wider design team as required.
Monitor quality and workmanship and manage NCRs/defects and corrective actions.
Attend site, design and progress meetings and contribute to issue resolution.
Maintain accurate site records and provide regular reports to the project team.
