Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION is seeking a Senior SIEM Data Engineer to design and operate cybersecurity telemetry pipelines across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. You will onboard data from diverse sources, ensure data quality, and enable reliable delivery to Splunk, Databricks, and other analytics platforms.

The role requires 8+ years in SIEM or cybersecurity data engineering, with hands-on Splunk and Cribl Stream experience.

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, engineering, data engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in SIEM engineering, cybersecurity data engineering, or related fields.
Hands-on experience with Splunk or similar SIEM/log analytics platforms.
Experience with Cribl Stream or similar data pipeline technologies.
Experience with Databricks or data lakehouse platforms.
Knowledge of cloud-native security telemetry and multi-cloud ingestion patterns.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable SIEM and security telemetry pipelines across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Lead onboarding of security telemetry from applications, infrastructure, endpoints, identity platforms, network devices, cloud services, SaaS tools, databases, and security products.
Validate data quality across cyber data platforms for freshness, completeness, and latency.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD for pipelines and onboarding.
Provide second-line support and root-cause analysis for data engineering issues.
